Gaighat (Udayapur), Feb 6: The elections for the Nepali Congress’s regional chairmen held on Friday saw Basanta Basnet, Bhojraj Khatiwada and Ram Kumar Khatri emerging victorious.Bhojraj Khatiwada has been elected the Regional Chair of district’s electoral constituency-1, according to Nepali Congress, Udayapur.
Basanta Basnet has been elected Regional Chair of constituency – 2 while Khatri has been elected Chair in constituency – 3, according to Nepali Congress, Udayapur Secretary, Madan Raj Katuwal. All the three elected chairmen are from the party’s establishment side, NC cadres said. RSS
