Advertisement nspector General of Police Upendra Kanta Aryal has asked people to not treat police negatively, just because of a few police personnel indulging in activities that defame the institution.

Inaugurating the fourth mega blood donation programme organised at Junior Police Officers Academy, Bharatpur in Chitwan today and newly-built police family quarters, Aryal rued the bad activities committed by some police personnel in Chitwan, Kathmandu and Lalitpur that have defamed the police institution as a whole.

Saying that the Central Regional Training Centre, Bharatpur helps produce good and qualified human resource, he stressed on the need for the institution to eradicate such ill practices prevailing among police personnel.

Police need to undergo changes in their behaviour and thoughts, apart from imparting them skills, he added.

On the occasion, Additional Inspector General Bigyan Raj Sharma said that police need people’s support to control criminal activities in the society. RSS Advertisement
